About the Role:
DC Caliche LLC is looking for a skilled Excavator/Dozer Operator to join our team in Wildorado, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity to operate heavy equipment on impactful earthwork and excavation projects in the Texas Panhandle region. Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, dozers, and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently on job sites
- Perform grading, excavation, land clearing, and earthmoving tasks as directed
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment
- Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions to meet site specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and site personnel
- Report equipment malfunctions or site hazards to management promptly
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators, dozers, or similar heavy construction equipment
- Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and work orders
- Strong understanding of earthmoving, grading, and excavation techniques
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including West Texas heat
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious work ethic
- Experience in caliche mining, road base, or aggregate operations is a plus
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
